5:11Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.Log in to add notes

5:12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.Log in to add notes

5:13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.Log in to add notes

5:14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.Log in to add notes

6:1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,Log in to add notes

6:2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.Log in to add notes

6:4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,Log in to add notes

6:5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,Log in to add notes

6:6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.Log in to add notes

6:7For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:Log in to add notes

6:8But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.Log in to add notes

7Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.Log in to add notes

9Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.Log in to add notes

10Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:Log in to add notes

11And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.Log in to add notes

20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.Log in to add notes

21Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.Log in to add notes

22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.Log in to add notes

23But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.Log in to add notes

37Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.Log in to add notes

39And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.Log in to add notes
