4:28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

4:29But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [that was born] after the Spirit, even so [it is] now.

4:30Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

4:31So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

5:1Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

5:2Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

5:3For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

5:4Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5:5For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

5:6For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

5:7Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

5:8This persuasion [cometh] not of him that calleth you.

5:9A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

5:10I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

6:55And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.

6:56And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

7:1Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

7:2And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.

7:3For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash [their] hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

7:4And [when they come] from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, [as] the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.

7:5Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

7:6He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with [their] lips, but their heart is far from me.

7:7Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.

7:8For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
