15:27And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.Log in to add notes

6When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.Log in to add notes

7The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.Log in to add notes

8When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;Log in to add notes

13When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.Log in to add notes

14And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!Log in to add notes

15But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Cesar.Log in to add notes

16Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.Log in to add notes

17And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:Log in to add notes

18Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.Log in to add notes

19And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.Log in to add notes

20This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.Log in to add notes

25Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.Log in to add notes

26When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!Log in to add notes

33But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:Log in to add notes

35And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.Log in to add notes

5Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?Log in to add notes

6He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.Log in to add notes

10For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:Log in to add notes

11But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.Log in to add notes

12And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;Log in to add notes

13Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.Log in to add notes

14And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:Log in to add notes

15There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.Log in to add notes
