1And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,Log in to add notes

2He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.Log in to add notes

3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.Log in to add notes

4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.Log in to add notes

6And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.Log in to add notes

11:3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.Log in to add notes

11:4By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.Log in to add notes

11:5By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.Log in to add notes

12And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.Log in to add notes

13But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.Log in to add notes

14And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.Log in to add notes

15And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.Log in to add notes
