16Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.Log in to add notes

17But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.Log in to add notes

19For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.Log in to add notes

20I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.Log in to add notes

31And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.Log in to add notes

32For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.Log in to add notes

33And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.Log in to add notes

34And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.Log in to add notes

35But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.Log in to add notes
