12Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:Log in to add notes

13And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:Log in to add notes

14But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.Log in to add notes

15But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.Log in to add notes

16Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.Log in to add notes

17Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.Log in to add notes

18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.Log in to add notes

17And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.Log in to add notes

18And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.Log in to add notes

19And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.Log in to add notes

20And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.Log in to add notes

21And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?Log in to add notes

22But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?Log in to add notes

23Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?Log in to add notes

24But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.Log in to add notes

25And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.Log in to add notes

26And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.Log in to add notes
