16And the Lord said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.Log in to add notes

17And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.Log in to add notes

24And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the Lord, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.Log in to add notes

25And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.Log in to add notes

26But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.Log in to add notes

27And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.Log in to add notes

28And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.Log in to add notes

29And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!Log in to add notes

23Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.Log in to add notes

24And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.Log in to add notes

25And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.Log in to add notes

26And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.Log in to add notes

27And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.Log in to add notes

28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:Log in to add notes

29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.Log in to add notes

30And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.Log in to add notes

31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.Log in to add notes

32And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.Log in to add notes

24For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.Log in to add notes

25Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.Log in to add notes

26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.Log in to add notes

27And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.Log in to add notes

28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.Log in to add notes

3:21Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.Log in to add notes

3:22And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.Log in to add notes

3:23And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.Log in to add notes

3:24And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.Log in to add notes

4:1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Log in to add notes

4:2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:Log in to add notes

4:3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.Log in to add notes

4:4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.Log in to add notes

4:5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.Log in to add notes

4:6We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.Log in to add notes

11Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.Log in to add notes

12No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.Log in to add notes

13Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.Log in to add notes

14And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.Log in to add notes

15Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.Log in to add notes

16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.Log in to add notes

4:20If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?Log in to add notes

4:21And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.Log in to add notes

5:1Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.Log in to add notes

5:2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.Log in to add notes

5:3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.Log in to add notes

5:4For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.Log in to add notes

5:5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?Log in to add notes

19Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.Log in to add notes

20And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.Log in to add notes

21Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.Log in to add notes

15So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.Log in to add notes

16He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.Log in to add notes

17He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.Log in to add notes

18Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.Log in to add notes

19This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.Log in to add notes

20Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?Log in to add notes

21Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?Log in to add notes

22Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.Log in to add notes

23Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?Log in to add notes

24This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.Log in to add notes

25And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.Log in to add notes

10Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,Log in to add notes

11Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.Log in to add notes

9For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.Log in to add notes

10We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.Log in to add notes

11Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;Log in to add notes

12And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:Log in to add notes

44And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.Log in to add notes

45Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?Log in to add notes

47Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?Log in to add notes

48Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?Log in to add notes

49But this people who knoweth not the law are cursed.Log in to add notes

50Nicodemus saith unto them, (he that came to Jesus by night, being one of them,)Log in to add notes

51Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?Log in to add notes

52They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.Log in to add notes

12Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.Log in to add notes

54And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?Log in to add notes

55Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?Log in to add notes

56And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?Log in to add notes

57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.Log in to add notes

58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.Log in to add notes
