5For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;Log in to add notes

6Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:Log in to add notes

2Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:Log in to add notes

3And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.Log in to add notes

4And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;Log in to add notes

5Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.Log in to add notes

6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.Log in to add notes

7And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?Log in to add notes
