3:22And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.Log in to add notes

4:1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.Log in to add notes

4:2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:Log in to add notes

4:3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.Log in to add notes

23Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?Log in to add notes

24This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.Log in to add notes

25And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.Log in to add notes

23And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.Log in to add notes

26I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.Log in to add notes

28Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.Log in to add notes

54And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?Log in to add notes
